It's a rust free 1972 Fiat 850 Spider for $2,000. I'm stupid enough to buy it but I need to figure out a way to get it 1,800 km home. Drive it? Trailer it? Ship it? The car will also have to be imported into Canada which should be a breeze due to it's age. Any advice on how to get this adorable little Fiat home?

I am the good captain Cletus. Too bad we're on opposite ends of the continent or a cruise would be fun! I'll be buying a car out of Phoenix sometime next summer and driving back to Toronto. Don't suppose you live along that route?

You could rent a trailer and tow it with the Chrysler.

If you have lots and lots of vacation time, lots of money to rebuild the engine twice on the trip home and don't mind sitting on the side of the highway waiting for the many tow trucks you will encounter during the trip, then go for it, drive it home, it will be an adventure you will never, ever forget. If you don't like adventure, hire a shipper to bring it home.
